About the Role:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing trade including overseas suppliers. You’ll be responsible for:

• On site position, no working from home
• Processing and coding invoices, ensuring timely approvals and payments.
• Managing EFT payment runs and liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries.
• Monitoring the Accounts Payable inbox and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reconciling supplier accounts and ensuring payments are made on time to avoid late fees.
• Supporting month-end duties, including reviewing aged creditors, assisting with audit queries, and collaborating with the wider finance team.
• Driving business process improvements and being a champion for change.
• Providing additional finance team support as needed.

Skills and Experience

• 2 year’s experience within a high-volume environment
• Intermediate Excel skills and experience using Windows & Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with finance systems
• Previous experience in a large organisation
