Jivaro Volunteers with Thread Together: Helping to Dress Those in Need

At Jivaro, corporate philanthropy is an essential part of who we are. Yesterday, our wonderful Sydney team had the privilege of volunteering at Thread Together, an organisation dedicated to providing brand new, unsold clothing to people facing tough circumstances. By partnering with charities and social service agencies, Thread Together helps ensure that vulnerable and marginalised members of the community have access to the essential clothing they need.

In Australia, over 3.5 million people lack access to basic clothing, a sobering reality that affects one in eight adults and one in six children. Thread Together’s mission to redistribute unsold garments to those in need makes a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Our Jivaro team was thrilled to lend a hand by helping pick and pack clothing orders that will soon be delivered to people across the country. The experience was not only fulfilling but also a powerful reminder of the importance of working together to support our community’s most vulnerable members.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to assist the amazing team at Thread Together. These experiences strengthen our commitment to making a difference, collaborating as a team, and giving back to the community in meaningful ways.
